During his doctoral studies (in adult education) from 1992 to 1996, he developed and refined major. Bob maintains a busy travel schedule, training church leaders around the world to carry out Biblical, wholistic ministry. We aim to inspire families and train their children so that their dreams for the future will become a reality. Bob Moffitt serves as the executive director of the Harvest Foundation which he founded in 1981. Other families are looking for an education with a strong English language emphasis to better equip their children to enter increasingly competitive job markets. Abundant Harvest Foundation is a secular social service voluntary organization and established to serve all the poorest of the poor. Through funding from the New College Foundation, the Harvest. Funding Amount: New Harvest Foundation will consider funding grants for up to 10,000.00. Some families are trapped in a cycle of poverty due to limited education and opportunities, and these families are looking for a way to help their children break out of this cycle. This summer the NCI Internship Program hosted 42 interns among 30 employers in various fields. These children need help in order to find their way forward.
Children in developing countries dream of futures where they are meaningfully employed in professions that serve the needs of their developing communities but many of these children lose their hope and forget their dreams as the insurmountable realities of life press them down. EASIER SAID THAN DONE Depression is a real cancer in our generation and has managed to take many of our loved ones. They want to see a brighter future for their families and their children’s families. Many families living in developing urban and rural communities in Northeast Thailand want to be a part of the solution. We continue to seek out help in other rice producing areas for rice production as well as in-kind contributions so we will be able to meet the needs of the Houston Food Bank.Northeast Thailand is the least developed region in Thailand. The cost of one acre is estimated at $1,250. In previous years, the rice was grown on the Texas Gulf Coast (Brazoria County) and many factions of the rice industry have contributed to the success of this program by sharing their time, labor, land, equipment, milling services and much more to make it possible for Share the Harvest to supply 750,000 – 1 million pounds of rice annually to the Houston Food Bank.
Rice is a nutritious food and a staple in most diets and this grant will make a difference in the lives of families across the Southeast Texas who otherwise may go hungry. Jesus is the greater the structure, the greater the foundation. Hunger is prevalent in Southeast Texas with approximately 900,000 individuals in need of assistance with food, 47% of which are children. For any structure to stand the test of time, a capable foundation must be established. Through the Share the Harvest Foundation, the Houston Food Bank has been able to distribute enough rice to provide more than 11 million servings each year. Harvest Foundation aims to help change that statistic one pastor at a time. There are too many ministers leaving ministry because they are fatigued. Although Southeast Texas is the primary focus, when supply has allowed, Share the Harvest has extended its reach to south Texas and the San Antonio Food Bank as well. Abundant Harvest Foundation is a voluntary organization and established to serve for all the poorest of the poor irrespective of caste, creed or race of all. Harvest Foundation is a ministry geared towards changing how even pastors look at their ministry. Share the Harvest has been helping to feed families in eighteen counties in Southeast Texas by providing rice to the Houston Food Bank. Our goal is to complete each project with attention to detail that will represent our clients. We’re increasing our support to 1 million/year. We strive to maintain competent and skilled carpenters and sub contractors to ensure the highest quality possible. Each year Harvest gives away approx 500K of earnings to Reformed Christian Schools. Industry vendors were approached to donate and other growers were challenged to contribute as well which led to the establishment of Share the Harvest Foundation (STHF) in 1999. Since 1988, Harvest Construction has been providing quality craftsmanship and excellent customer service on the Monterey Peninsula. “Pappy” began donating one truck load of rice per year.
